With the popularity of iPhone and iPad becoming more and more commonly used for both recreation and work, there is an increasing demand for native applications, and moreover, native developers.
Learning from an iOS app developer with experience in all aspects of designing, developing, shipping and marketing successful iOS apps, you will gain a thorough and comprehensive understanding in iOS development techniques and concepts, and learn hands-on how to use the major tools and APIs in the iOS SDK, and how they work together. Throughout the course, you will develop your knowledge of Objective-C, cocoa touch, smartphone design patterns, how to utilize the foundation framework and create custom classes, view controller and animation basics.
The aim of this course is to empower you to use your own ideas to create Applications for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. You will learn how to deploy your app to a real mobile device and the provisioning processes, details and insight into the app store submission process.
Ideally you will have completed the ‘iOS Application Design and Development for Non-Developers’ course of possess equivalent experience. You will need to be fully conversant with Apple Macintosh products, and have access to a Mac computer between classes to practice and develop your knowledge.
