Following a hugely successful 2008, yacht brokerage Quayside Marine has decided its time to expand the business further and move to larger offices.

The move, to premises on , Torquay, follows on from an expansion into and , teaming up with other yacht brokers keen to use Quayside Marine’s services and knowledge.

The company was set up by Phil Haste in 2004 and since then has gained many repeat customers keen to experience his unique brand of customer service and care.

Phil, who has more than 30 years experience of the boating industry and a strong heritage in brokerage, knows the pitfalls which can happen when people are buying and selling their craft if a broker isn’t used.

He said: “Quayside Marine works hard on behalf of everyone – whether they are buying or selling a craft, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and everything is in order.

“I’ve helped hundreds of people buy and sell boats, helping the process to run as smooth and straightforward as possible.”

He added: “I’ve recently teamed up with brokers across Europe and also which has given me access to a huge choice of boats for sale and also a vast database of people looking to buy boats.

“2008 was a very successful year for Quayside Marine and 2009 is looking as if it is going to be even better for us. I’m really pleased with the new developments and the office move. It’s a very positive time for us.”
