Thai Massage This two-day Thai Massage Training course, offers you a thorough introduction to this ancient practice, the techniques of Thai Massage are very effective in treating muscle and joint problems, lower back pain, sciatica, shoulder and neck stiffness, stress and tension. Dynamic stretching, deep acupressure and yoga techniques help to reduce pain and stiffness in the muscles and joints, whilst increasing flexibility and mobility. These stretches also increase energy flow throughout the body. Thai Massage is also great for the practitioner, as we use our whole body during the treatment, giving ourselves a yoga work out too. Most patients can benefit from these dynamic Thai Massage techniques. Stretches can be incorporated into your existing practice, to enhance a treatment and offer your clients highly effective techniques for improving posture and flexibility. We will cover the fundamentals of Thai Massage and learn effective techniques to enhance your practice. By the end of the two days, you will feel confident to offer a one-hour Thai Massage treatment; whilst also discovering new techniques to successfully incorporate into other massage and bodywork practices, both on the floor or table. You will be awarded a School of Bodywork Certificate of attendance.
