course is equivalent to approximately 10 hours study or a day's face-to-face
training. Importantly, it is available as and when needed, with students
able to study wherever they have the time and internet access.
has shown that personal reflective study provides the most effective
means of e-learning. The Life Change UK courses are specifically
designed to provide such learning. Throughout, students are encouraged
to write in their online journal (provided with each course). The more
time spent on personal reflection of the course content and the
writing of associated notes in the journal, the more students develop a
deeper awareness and understanding of the core subjects.
is no pressure in respect of time. Rather, the programme is designed to
allow the student to work at their own pace. Online assessments at the
end of various sections and the end of each course enable students to
assess their own progression and depth of learning. If necessary,
students can revisit sections of the course to study the topic again,
re-taking the questions so as to confirm their understanding. Once a
student achieves a minimum of 80% correct answers, a completion
certificate is automatically awarded.
