Caudwells Mill Craft Centre was established in Rowsley in the Peak District as Derbyshire's working crafts, gift and coffee shop visitor attraction in 1987. The flour mill had been open to the public since 1974. Greenhalgh Glass joined Derbyshire's working crafts, gift and coffee shop visitor attraction shortly after the conversion of the stables to craft workshops. They were joined at Derbyshire's working crafts, gift and coffee shop visitor attraction by Helen Clarke, artist and Bob Brown the blacksmith. Pat Priestley, jeweller, started Derbyshire's working crafts, gift and coffee shop visitor attraction with her husband Richard. They converted the large former grain store into the craft / gift shop and the coffee shop has views of the River Wye and hills beyond. Derbyshire's working crafts, gift and coffee shop visitor attraction is set in lovely countryside, next to the rivers Wye and Derwent  and has a large private car park.
