The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) require that Asbestos Awareness
training is provided to all employees whose work activities
could potentially expose them to asbestos. This is particularly
critical for demolition workers and those in the refurbishment,
maintenance and allied trades.
In providing this training to
your employees you are ensuring compliance with your statutory
obligations under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 and the
Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
This course is designed for those who are liable to disturb asbestos
while carrying out their normal everyday work activities, or those
who may influence how work is carried out.
We will ensure all delegates are provided with an awareness and
improved knowledge of the hazards and risks posed by asbestos
containing materials within their everyday working environment. We will
provide an overview of the applicable legislation currently in place
and what your obligations are as an employer and your rights as an

Each delegate will receive a certificate of attendance, a copy of the
presentation/training booklet and additional supporting material. This
certificate will expire after 1 year from the certificate date, after
which the delegate is required to complete a refresher course.
