Derbyshire Counselling Service is a small, evolving independent organisation that specialises in Integrative Person Centred Therapy. Derbyshire Counselling Service offers one to one therapy to people experiencing a wide range of difficulties including eating disorders, depression, stress and relationship issues. Derbyshire Counselling Service also specialises in working directly with Carers and the problems that they face in their everyday lives. We have recently started working with the Carers Trust to provide counselling throughout Derbyshire for a major charity. Our spacious and comfortable office provides our clients with a confidential place of safety where they are free to discuss what is bothering them without fear of judgement. Derbyshire Counselling Service is conveniently located in Belper. Derbyshire. We are only 10 minutes from the A38 (M1) and provide free car parking nearby. Derbyshire Counselling Service was established by a therapist who both holds post graduate qualifications in Psychology/Social Work/Counselling from Edinburgh University. Derbyshire Counselling Service has full professional indemnity insurance, and receive regular supervision and continuing professional development (CPD). We also have current DBS(CRB) police check certificates which allows us to work with any age groups and clients. Derbyshire Counselling Service adheres to the ethical framework for good practice as published by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Derbyshire Counselling Service will soon be offering group work for a range of problems.
