The RICS Homebuyer Report is a simplified form of residential property survey that is suitable for most dwellings built since WW1. Some non-standard forms of construction are not suited to this reporting format. The RICS Homebuyer Report grades the main elements of a property according to condition. The RICS Homebuyer Report also gives advice on repair and maintenance and guidance on some peripheral issues to which legal advisers should attend. The RICS Homebuyer Report also give a valuation and an insurance recommendation figure
