The Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992 requires that employers assess the risks to employees (and sub-contractors) of work with computers. There are additional duties to provide eyesight tests and spectacles (or other corrective appliances) where required. Because of the nature of the risks, an individual assessment is required for each DSE training user, therefore many organisations choose to train enough people as DSE assessors in order to fulfill this function.

Who this course is for.

Office managers, health and safety managers, supervisors, and anyone working with visual display screen equipment.

Benefits of DSE training.

This course will instruct on how to assess workstations and provide delegates with information to ensure that the workstation and working environment are satisfactory for all employees . Delegates will learn how to meet their responsibilities under health and safety legislation and minimise exposure to risk .
