1. COSHH Regulations Explained – ( up to 0.5 hours)

* What are COSHH Regulations * How do they relate to the NHM and its employees * What are the legal implications * Compliance with COSHH regs ( HSE eight steps )

2. Staff Awareness and Training ( up to 1 hours )

* Recognition of Hazardous and Non Hazardous substances * Understanding the Risks to Health * Recognising high and low risk activities in relation to the type of substance * Assessment of job specific tasks involving Hazardous Substances

( using eight steps and Risk / Severity matrix )

COSHH Forms ( up to 1 hour )

* Explanation of the form and how to complete * Substance / Product Labelling and Documentation * Sources of information

3. Management system ( up to 0.5 hour )

* Summary of NHM existing system * Employee responsibilities * Emergency Procedures * Reporting incidents and documentation

4. De briefing and assessment of attendee understanding ( up to 0.5 hour )

Cost £475.00 per session
