Free Wills for Hospice at Home
solicitor, wills, law firm
Burnetts has been a long-time supporter of Hospice at Home’s Business Partner scheme.
As part of its fundraising efforts, the law firm is currently giving the charity’s supporters the opportunity to have their Will professionally drawn up (or amended) and will not be earning a penny.
To raise as much money as possible for Hospice at Home, Burnetts’ team of accredited wills specialists will be drawing up basic Wills and, in return, asking that the will-maker makes a donation to Hospice at Home instead of paying Burnetts. The suggested donation is £130 for a single Will or £195 for a pair of mirror Wills.
Martyn Wrightson, Head of Trusts at Burnetts said, “Having a professionally drafted and up-to-date Will is the only way to make sure the people you love are looked after when you are no longer here. Getting your affairs in order is important – Hospice at Home’s Will Aid month provides an excellent opportunity to ensure that your wishes will be carried out when you die whilst supporting an essential local charity.”
The Hospice at Home nursing service covers 1500 square miles from the Scottish Border to Stainmore and Allonby to Alston. The clinical team care and nurse approximately 300 patients each year also supporting their families and carers.
The charity needs to raise £13,925 each week to continue to provide this service. Further information on the work of Hospice at Home can be found at: http://www.hospiceathome.co.uk/
