Start-ups: Often individuals starting their businesses need help overcoming issues of self-doubt which can prevent them from making that first step. Really getting clear on why they want to be in business and what they want to achieve for themselves and their families through the business, assists with the motivation to begin. Dealing with stress and overwhelm are often issues that clients setting up their businesses want help with. Current businesses: I work with many clients who have already been in business for a couple of years and have achieved a certain level of success, but need to move the business forward to the next level. Common issues that clients bring are dealing with stress, difficulty in saying no, delegating and presenting with confidence. Clients have often lost that clear vision of why they are in business and are mired in the day to day mundanity of running it. I help clients gain some distance, so they can spend time on the business rather than in the business. Identifying what is going well and the next steps to move forward. Employers: Motivated, confident and competent staff are the backbone to the success of business growth. Having completed staff appraisals it can be more cost effective to support staff development through coaching to target specific development points such as confidence, time management, support in a change of role, communication skills and presenting with confidence. Career Development: I have also coached employees who want to achieve promotions or are looking to gain clarity over their career paths. Identifying current skills and resources as well as recognising and bridging current skills gaps in order to achieve the career success that they desire.
