An Irish Artist, splitting my time between the beautiful Lakelands of Fermanagh and the vast Scottish countryside, I work with Acrylic and Oils to create dramatic landscapes and racing scenes.
I favour a limited palette and loose strokes of the brush/palette knife, infusing movement and atmosphere onto the canvas. Stormy skies should be felt from the canvas and you should almost hear the wind whistling in your ears.
With animal paintings I focus on the reality of their sparkling eyes. They are the windows to their soul, and as such, they must reflect that individual's spirit. In short, when you look into his eyes I want you to know exactly what he is thinking.
My treasures do not clink or glitter...they neigh!
