Coopers English Bitter from The Brewers Den thumbnail

Coopers English Bitter

This kit is a part of the Coopers international series. In the 19th century the English adopted Bitter as a term for a type of pale ale. This term helped to reduce confusion when a patron asked the publican for a pint. Coopers English Bitter has a brown copper colour with red hues and a creamy head. It has a pleasing flora aroma with a blend of toasty / sweet malt flavors and a firm bitter finish. This kit makes 40 pints and requires the addition of 1kg of brewing sugar.
