Four films produced by Dead Interesting Productions in the past year were selected for screening and premièred at the 2011 Cornwall Film Festival. ‘All of Me’, tells the story of how Lizard-based music producer John Knight discovered a lost, never before released album by folk legend Brenda Wootton. The album was recorded before a live audience in Paris in 1984, when Brenda was at the peak of her musical career. 'Speak Swahilli, Dammit’, is a complimentary film to the book of the same title; a biographical account of a young boy's chaotic life in a remote, wild, corner of east Africa, written by local author James Penhaligon. Commissioned by the Food Festival Committee, The ‘Porthleven Food Festival, 2011’, follows the fun and excitement of the action-packed day. Our wildlife documentary ‘Wild about Cornwall – Toads’, provides an intimate tadpole-eye view of the love-life of toads in a garden pond.
