I graduated from the Slade School of Fine Art with a master's degree in painting in 2007.   Previously I studied at Falmouth College of Arts.   Since leaving London, I moved back down to Cornwall, where I continue to produce colourful and very spontaneous paintings.

I have Cerebral Palsy.  Having a disability is sometimes frustrating but when I paint, the frustration  disappears and I find a freedom, where I am not judged on my disability.  My voice is not easily understandable at first, however my work acts like a visual voice.

My work is mostly based on the everyday people I see in the street.  I can often get inspired by conversations I have with friends, family and strangers.  I like to incorporate these situations, which are often quite humorous, into the pictures. I enjoy making people laugh and hopefully this shows through the work.
