Pencuke Farm has five self-catering holiday properties, each offering guests a comfortable stay in a cottage or barn conversion. As with many character properties, they are steeped in history.
The main barn was originally built in 1898 and has been renovated to provide three of our cottages, (1 bedroom), (3 bedroom) and (2 bedroom). This barn also forms the main farmhouse for Pencuke Farm. Originally the horses used to be kept in one end of the barn and the grain used to be milled in the middle. The part of the barn called The Roundhouse was where the horses walked round and round to turn the mill for the main barn.
We also have two 17th Century cottages, (3 bedroom) and (2 bedroom). They used to be one house and the family would store apples in the loft area from their orchard, hence the name Appleloft for the smaller cottage.
