Because you are reading this, its probably fair to say that you are looking to free yourself from the expensive, unhealthy and unsociable habit of smoking. When all is said and done for the majority of smokers it is just that, a habit. If it were all about addiction to nicotine then we would be seeing many clinics being set up to help people to break their addiction to nicotine patches and other nicotine replacement products - but we don’t see that.
If you’re like most smokers I talk to, you will have tried unsuccessfully to stop smoking many times. One important point to bear in mind is that on average most smokers have tried to quit at least seven times before succeeding, and on this journey you've probably tried patches, gum, cutting down, tablets and last but not least, will power.
Usually the last port of call for most smokers is hypnotherapy. Yet it's one of the most successful ways to quit smoking, as it helps break the associations and habits of cigarettes as its the only treatment that deals directly with your sub-conscious mind.

The Stop Smoking Programme is usually two sessions, a week to ten days apart. The majority of clients are able to stop smoking after the first session and the second is there to ensure a long lasting, even permanent, result. A small number of clients may need more sessions. Usually these are smokers for whom smoking is not simply a habit but is also deeply linked to emotional issues that may lie forgotten in their deep memories.
Sometimes clients are unsure of why they have a particular problem or cannot achieve a goal. It can then be useful to use analytical age regression techniques to have a look back and discover what occurred in the past that has lead to the current situation. There are a few critical factors in analytical hypnotherapy:
• The roots of the issue may be in childhood and re-examining them with your adult mind can help resolution
• You may or may not already be aware of the cause; even if you are you may not realise all the factors involved and analysis can help you get a clearer more complete picture
• There is no need to “re-experience” bad times: it can be as though you are simply observing
