A Lasting Power of Attorney is a legal document that allows you to appoint someone that you trust to make decisions on your behalf. Attorneys can make decisions for you when you lack the mental capacity to do so, or if yourauthorise them to do so before you lose capacity. There are two distinct types of LPA, one for personal and financial affairs and one for health and welfare. We can register your LPA for you with the Office of the Public Guardian.
