What needs a PAT test?
• Moveable equipment (Transportable) e.g. air conditioning unit, electric fire, till
• Stationary equipment or appliances e.g. fridge freezer, washing machine
• Hand held equipment or appliances e.g. hair dryer, kettle, extension lead, drill
• Fixed equipment or appliances e.g. electric heaters

We start with a visual inspection checking for:

Correctly wired plugs
Correctly rated fuse

Then a series of tests (depending on the class of equipment), they may include:
Earth continuity testing
Insulation resistance
Polarity test
Earth leakage test

A full report and certificate are emailed to you upon completion of the job.

Under 50 tests - £60.00
50- 250 tests - £1.00 per item
251- 500 tests – 90p per item
501 + tests – 80p per item.

We will replace fuses and rewire plugs if necessary to ensure the item can pass the test. These types of fixes are included in the test price.
