During the course of our work we obviously produce large volumes of waste timber. Smaller diameter material, up to six inches for quality timbers and up to twelve inches for poorer grade material such as willow and leylandii, is recycled into woodchip mulch with anything larger either sent to a local sawmill for milling or taken back to our yard and split into firewood. All our firwood is seasoned for at least a year with the vast majority split so as to speed up the drying process and provide a better quality log. Unlike some of our competitors all of our timber is Uk sourced with the vast majority coming to us from our tree surgery and land clearing operations. Logs can be produced in any length and are available by the net, at a cost of £3.50, loose by the cubic metre, at a cost of £65, or in cubic metre crates, £85. Local delivery within a 15 mile radius of march is free but outside of this distance we do have to charge. Deliveries are available at weekends as well as in the week.
