The eleventh Developments in Pavement Assessment conference is on the 12th July, Birmingham. If you have attended before you will know that the event provides updates from respected figures in the highways industry focusing on key issues in pavement assessment.
This year, Matthew Lugg will consider the fallout from the comprehensive spending review and consider the lessons learnt from two harsh winters. As usual, there will be talks on current research covering thin surfacing, traffic speed deflectometer and how road conditions affect driver behaviour. This year, there will also be talks on how local authorities can maximise the value from the data they are required to collect.
