What I do I'm a mobile, fully insured and highly-qualified soft tissue therapist. I help people of all levels of fitness with pain relief, posture improvement, injury rehabilitation and relaxation and stress relief. What is soft tissue therapy? Soft Tissue Therapy is the management, manipulation and rehabilitation of soft tissues of the body including muscles, tendons and ligaments. It is applicable not just to sports people but to anybody wishing to guard against or recover from a soft tissue injury, or just the aches and pains of day-to-day living. In particular, office workers suffer from similar soft tissue complaints as those caused by sports and exercise. My qualifications I'm a member of both the ISRM (Institute of Sports and Remedial Massage) and the CNHC (Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council) - you can find me on their online registries. I trained at the LSSM (London School of Sports Massage) which is based in Regents Park University, London. I hold the Level 5 BTEC in Clinical Sports & Remedial Massage, which is the highest available massage qualification in the UK. I've also qualified in Pregnancy and Labour Massage, which I studied at the LSM (London School of Massage) and Medical Acupuncture (dry needling), which I studied at London's Osteon Manual Therapy. Treatments offered •Sports injury and rehabilitation •Postural assessment and correction •Pain and symptom relief for chronic illnesses (IBS, Parkinsons, migraines, sciatic pain etc) •Pregnancy massage (after initial 12 weeks) •Medical acupuncture for muscular pain relief •Muscle energy techniques (MET) and soft tissue release (STR) to aid stretching and improve range of motion •Targeted massage •Full body massage Consultation Depending on your injury and requirements, it may be necessary to conduct a postural assessment and consultation before beginning treatment, to ensure you receive the most beneficial therapy and also to check for any contraindications.
