We run weekly classes for all levels of experience from Beginner to Advanced in both Yang and Chen styles, and for a wide range of ages and fitness levels.  We also have specialised group classes such as Balance for Life and Tai Chi for the Over 50s.

Tai Chi for Schools

Increasingly stress is reported as a problem for younger people, be it exam stress, stress resulting from friction with others in school, or from some other source.  Tai Chi can both calm and provide the ability to cope more effectively with stress.  It is also a major contributor to a healthy school, and can provide a useful way of dealing with the obesity epidemic which is attracting so much attention at present.  For primary children it helps moderate inappropriate behaviour.

Special Needs Programmes

The range of special needs is considerable.  Tai Chi can help to reduce blood pressure and to delay the onset of osteoporosis.  It can also improve joint mobility, posture, co-ordination, strength, flexibility, concentration and balance.  It has a calming effect and helps with maintaining a balanced outlook on life.
