Facial, skin rejuvenation, tattoo removal
I run my semi permanent make-up and skin rejuvenating business from my treatment room at home in Warfield, Bracknell. I specialise in both semi permanent make-up for brows, eyeliner and lips and MCA (Multitrepannic Collagen Activation) the skin rejuvenating treatment to improve scars, acne, stretchmarks, burns and fine wrinkles.
Semi-Permanent make-up is also known as spmu, for short, cosmetic tattooing, permanent make-up, micropigmentation. It is a revolutionary method of inserting small amounts of pigment into the dermal layer of the skin. The pigments used for semi-permanent make-up are not the same as those pigments (inks) used in traditional tattooing. The pigments used in semi permanent make-up are designed specifically to fade over time. The pigment is matched to suit your skin tone, in order to enhance your features by adding colour to eyebrows to give definition and fullness, by adding a rich colour to your eyeliner to enhance your eyes to adding a natural or vibrant colour to lips to give life back to your smile. All enhancements lifting your features giving a more youthful appearance.
To anyone who hasn’t had a semi permanent make-up treatment before the idea of having your face tattooed can be a terrifying concept, but I’m here to put you at ease and answer all your questions and ensure that you are fully informed before you make the decision to have a brow, eyeliner or lip enhancement.
MCA is also know as dry needling, dry tattooing, Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), and micro needling. Tattooing the damaged skin with a dry needle (no pigment) causes a minor trauma to the treated area which encourages your own body to produce collagen and repair the area. As we all know as we get older our bodies produce less collagen and our faces, in particular, which are exposed to the elements, suffer and lose elasticity. By getting the body to produce more collagen you are improving and repairing those treated areas.
Semi permanent make-up has been around for many years now and its benefits have been used by everyone; from your stay at home busy mums (and dads), cancer sufferers who've lost their eyebrows, and those of you with allergies to conventional make-up, contact lens wearers, those going through the menopause with their hot flushes, to models, actors, entertainers, business professionals, and sports professionals, to those whose eyesight isn't as focused as once it might have been, as a means of enhancing their appearance. Beyond the mere aesthetic value, with the savings in time, money, and daily frustration, it is easy to see why semi-permanent make-up has been called the "make-up of the future."
