I bet you will be satisfied with Ping Anser Forged Irons

I played Ping G15 Irons for years but was always looking for a forged iron. The Ping Anser Forged Irons are an excellent choice for a lower handicap player looking for great feel and playability with a softer feel, good feedback and good workability in a forged iron. These clubs are truely built with quality, you can tell the first time you hold them in your hands they are really well made. The look is a cross between a classic forged iron with the thin lines and narrow sole and a cast iron with a little thicker top line and a wider sole. They give me a great blend between forged feel and cast forgiveness. The forged, multi-metal design, of the Anser Forged Irons combines an 8620 steel body, a dense tungsten sole, and machined grooves for unequaled forged-ironfeel and forgiveness. Its hollow-sole cavity softens feel and positions the CG for higher-launching shots. The progressive set design offers long-iron forgiveness and short-iron control. The Anser carries the same name as one of the early models Karsten Solheim produced before he transitioned to the popular investment casting process. The newest version pushes the forging process to create performance benefits not previously associated with a forged club. They are excellent golf irons and easy to hit for all kinds of players. This set has a semi cavity back that offers a softer feel in every shot. Forged from soft 8620 Carbon Steel, this Ping Anser golf set makes way for better distance and greater shots. The hollow cavity design of this It features a tungsten nickel sole that promotes softer feel and helps to give excellent performance every time. A low center of gravity in this Ping Anser golf set helps provide a higher trajectory. Apart from this, the Ping Anser Forged Irons are designed with a progressive offset that helps to easily reset your launching angle towards your target. These irons are the second version of the forged Anser iron that was introduced in 2010. The 2012 model is also forged and the feel is still very good. The head features a new design with a hollow sole and a progressive stablising bar that changes as you go through the set. It looks pretty good and the trajectory from all the irons is great. It is very easy to hit all the irons and thankfully the progressively smaller clubheads are still are good size as you reach the short irons, unlike Ping sets of the past. Ping say the forgiveness from the Anser Forged is a little less than the Ping I20, but more than the Ping S56 and we would go along with that. Certainly when comparing the Anser and i20 iron together on the range, the i20 did seem easier to hit and had a slightly higher trajectory. This could also be because standard steel shaft is the Project X Rifle shaft and this is a bit more work than the CFS from the i20s. In conclusion, these set up and feel like traditional muscle-back irons but have the forgiveness of perimeter weighting. The club feedback is also there. The anser irons have great true feel. The rifle shafts are also responsive. For more details, you can visit www.shop60.co.uk
