Children really enjoy doing yoga and it’s a lovely discipline to learn when young. It is taught in a different way from adult yoga, so we run courses after school for 2 different age groups. After the age of 14, teenagers are welcome to come with their parents to adult classes, but they may prefer to come to children’s classes up until they are 16.
Teenager Class (11 to 16s)
Mondays, 4.30 til 5.30
An hour of yoga designed for older children. Students will learn a variety of yoga poses to help them with balance, focus and concentration. taught by Diana Penny: an experienced Iyengar teacher who has taught children/teens for many years.
Children’s Class (6 to 11s)
Tuesdays, 4.15 til 5.00pm
45 minutes of yoga designed for younger children. The course is an enjoyable series of classes suitable for growing bodies, taught by Diana Penny: an experienced Iyengar teacher who has taught children for many years.
