Artworks have a longstanding relationship with Reckitt Benckiser, having worked extensively on the firm’s sites around the world; their latest installation was at their head office on the outskirts of London.
With some of the world’s most powerful brands being sold in over 180 countries it is imperative that communication and understanding of their market is clear to consumer and staff alike. This is why the design concept for the breakout areas within Reckitt Benckiser’s head office is focused on the consumer and not on the product. Reckitt Benckiser’s Sendra Van Roon and her team produced the design concept; they then briefed the Artworks designers who visualised their concepts and produced the finished designs.
On the 1st floor you are wowed by the collaboration room in the style of a New York loft apartment complete with brick walls and panoramic views of New York, all made from digital wallpaper. An Indian theme is portrayed in the kitchen area which has printed glass splash-backs designed to look like tiles with the most intricate detail. On the second floor they have chosen a Brazilian theme, presented on printed glass splash-backs in the kitchen and on manifestations in the breakout area, along with framed artwork with South American origins. Also included in the works were 26 branded acrylic screens, floor to ceiling magnetic glass drywipe partitions, and other digital wallcovering and manifestations throughout the first two floors of the building.
Artworks, which are renowned for taking the brief all the way from concept through to installation, then manufactured and installed the products within tight deadlines.
