Georgina's Cafe

Set in a seventeenth century building with links to an eighteenth century publisher, Georgina's Cafe is a new take on the traditional English tea and coffee shop. Smart and comfortable Georgina's offers everything from a full breakfast (plus lots of other breakfast choices) to a wide range of meals and lunches and a scrumptious selection of afternoon teas. Georgina's serves Taylor's teas and coffees by the pot, the cup (coffee) and the cafetiere plus wines, champagne and beers (both lager and the best of British). There's a TV for those who want to watch the news or whatever, a sofa and easy chairs for a calm coffee and a read, some fascinating history and a wonderul building to relax in.
Try our Cappuccino, Latte, Mocha and Espresso or relax with an Earl Grey tea or one of our fragrant herbal infusions. Our cakes and scones are all made locally (as is the majority of our food) and you should try our special French toast or home made quiches. Georgina's is an experience par excellence.
