Course Objective:   To provide candidates with a broad based understanding of workplace Health and Safety and to obtain a recognised formal qualification.     The NEBOSH Certificate is a formal qualification suitable for   Managers and Supervisors Safety Officers Safety Representatives Any other person with health and safety related duties    

Course Content:  
On completion of the course the delegates will be able to:  
·         Identify hazards and unsafe practices
·         Monitor and audit management’s safety policies, procedures and performance
·         List the requirements of health and welfare legislation
·         Assist in the preparation and review of safety policies
·         Advise on action to minimise the risk of fire
·         Undertake health and safety induction training
·         Communicate effectively  on health and safety issues
·         Prepare reports
·         Describe where to obtain advice on health and safety
·         Maintain an information system
·         Organise health and safety management
·         Investigate injury, maintain reports, prepare reports
·         Select appropriate inspection techniques
·         Undertake workplace inspection    

Duration : 11 days block plus 1 day for examinations with a maximum number of 10 delegates per course
