Today’s technology enables the broadcast of audio around an entire site
from one central location. You can control each zone independently,
choosing the volume and what’s playing in each area with as much ease as
if the equipment were right next to you.
Not only does this reduce the expenditure on separate systems, it also
removes the need for equipment storage in each area.
These systems can also be extensively customised, including
automated scheduling (so that, for example, at certain times of the day,
music is played in certain areas, at a specific volume, and from
certain playlists). Additionally, they can be integrated with public
announcement systems and fire alarms – so you only need one set of
loudspeakers for all three functions.
In each location or ‘zone’, control options range from
full-colour, wireless, hand-held touch panels to simple on-wall volume
controls.
