   Chinese Language Training for Business  
Confucius Language Academy (CLA) offers a choice of weekly Mandarin training and intensive Mandarin courses for business:  
1.      Weekly Mandarin Language Training   The easy way for busy people to learn Mandarin is “little by little without a let-up”. CLA aims to make it fun too and you will have a sense of achievement after a very short time. With your knowledge of Mandarin developing, your confidence grows in your communication with Mandarin speaking colleagues, customers and suppliers.   Design of your Mandarin course/program Before your Mandarin training commences, we will establish your needs and assess your current Mandarin skills, we will then design a Mandarin language training program which is tailor-made for you and ensure that the training is specific to your needs: your industry sector and job function, incorporating your work terminology into the program.   Location of your Mandarin course CLA provides a highly qualified native Mandarin speaking teacher directly to your place of work for your conveniences or your staff can come over to our training room if you so wish. Typically the essential skills of Mandarin are learned in a two-hour session each week over a period of 36 – 48 sessions, depending on the level of proficiency you wish to achieve;   Time of your Mandarin course Mandarin language training can be on a one-to-one basis or for groups of up to 15 people from your organization and will always be arranged at a time to suit you and your work schedule. If you are having one-to-one Mandarin training you have the added benefit of being able to re-arrange the day and time of your Mandarin training session with us each week.  
2.      Intensive Mandarin Language Training   From time to time you may be given limited notice to attend a trade fair or an important business meeting abroad with Mandarin speaking customers or colleagues. Now you need to get to grips with Mandarin quickly and an intensive Mandarin course is the ideal solution.   Design of your Mandarin course Our one or two-week intensive Mandarin courses can be arranged at short notice and are designed specifically for you. Just let us know your specific requirements; we will design a program to meet them. We take into account your current/previous knowledge, the amount of time you have to devote to the intensive training and the terminology you are looking for, e.g. ‘survival skills’ for beginners or more specialized terminology (e.g. textile, financial, business, and technical) for more advanced learners.   Location of your Mandarin course Your intensive Mandarin training can be carried out at your place of work or at our training room or at an alternative venue of your choice.   Time of your Mandarin course Intensive Mandarin training can be either on a one-to-one basis or arranged for a small group of colleagues from the same organization. Our usual times of training are 9.30 am to 4.30 pm with a one hour lunch break, but we can be very flexible, this can be altered to suit your work schedule, it can be a course of mornings or afternoons only, it can even be split into several weeks.
