One of the city’s oldest firms has a new look today.

Law firm Burnetts has ditched the navy and grey which have been its signature colours for more than 20 years to embrace a modern charcoal grey and vibrant pink combination instead.

The change of image was unveiled to partners and staff at presentations held on Thursday 5 and Friday 6 May.

In his presentation, Managing Partner said, “For us, this has been much more than a paint job. It has been a time to look at what clients want from us and to plan for the future by building on our strengths. We have always been expert, grounded, accessible and committed to our clients, but in today’s competitive world, you need a strong brand image to get that message across.”

As well as new colours and a new logo, the 100 year old firm also has a new tagline, “It’s not just business, it’s personal” which aims to convey the dedication of the firm to its clients, as well as highlighting the two pillars of the firm, private client services and business client services.

Tom said, “Today is a new beginning for us. The re-branding process has been extremely motivational for us as an organisation and reminded us all that we have a very special business, full of special people, in a very special location.”

A new website went live on Monday 9 May 2011 at .

The new logo was designed by agency, Liquid Design. The website was developed by Kendal’s Armitage Online.
