We pride ourselves on our varied breakfast fare, catering for all tastes. We source locally where possible and supply eggs from our own free range chickens. We make our own preserves. Our home made cakes await all guests upon arrival. There are many eating establishments within a 1 1/2 mile radius.
Buttermilk is close to Droitwich and Worcester, but maintains an air of tranquility, so welcome after a busy day of sight seeing, or business.
There are scenic walks close by. The area is steeped in history, and if this is your bent, we have a fund of local knowledge.
Apart from our happy situation regarding views, we are close to many areas of outstanding natural beauty, and for those welcome visitors from abroad, who have a fondness for things English, the local villages and towns, with black and white timbered buildings, and small fields enclosed by hedge rows, so typical of historic rural England, are most prominent here. We are a comparatively short distance from Ironbridge, where the industrial revolution started. A little closer, is the Black Country Museum which is a must. Close by is the spa town of Droitwich, (Roman and pre-Roman connections) with its brine bath, and Worcester City has many attractions, including Cathedral, County Cricket Ground, Guildhall, Civil War Museum, Porcelain Visitors Centre and Elgars birthplace nearby. Ideal base for visiting Malvern Spa and Hills, Cotswolds, Cheltenham, Stratford upon Avon and West Midlands. The valleys of the rivers Teme, Wye and Avon, tributaries of the Severn, afford some of the finest scenery, with many attractive towns and villages.
